YES! A Personal Training Session, not an orientation

 You will meet with a trainer to discuss your personal goals, and your trainer will set you up with a fitness program to get you started on your road to success.  All Personal Trainers are certified by an accredited institution, and are here to help. 
 We highly recommend that all members take advantage of their first session with a trainer, from the novice exerciser to the advanced athlete.  There is always something new to learn!  It has been proven through the years that we have been in business, that members who hire a personal trainer, stick to their programs and succeed - That’s why SHF pays for your first session! 
 The Personal Trainers take continuing education classes every year to keep up with the current trends in the fitness industry and are glad to pass that knowledge on to you.  It’s amazing how a few sessions with a trainer can help guide your fitness program.  Watch out!  You may learn to love exercise!

Dana Wieloch - brings 13 years of experience coupled with the most current training techniques for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Dana holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and is ACE/AFAA certified in Group Exercise and Personal Training. Through a unique, expert and motivating approach, Dana offers private, semi-private and group fitness programs. Dana specializes in developing customized, disciplined and fun fitness programs for people who want to learn how to achieve results and embrace fitness as a lifestyle

Kati Papoosha - Has been active in the fitness industry since 2003, she is a NASM certified personal trainer and is also a certified spinning instructor. By keeping her clients muscles guessing and never getting bored she likes to mix thing up by taking a client/group outside on the beach for a boot camp class or keeping it inside for a spinning / strength training program. Kati believes in taking her clients to the next step mentally and physically and bringing out the athlete in all of us.

Joe Fay - has been a certified personal trainer at Shoreline Health and Fitness since 2003. He has been recognized in the fitness and recreation industry since 1986. Profile includes; Class 1 slalom water-ski coach, Special Events Race Department / Lake Tahoe Ca. Special interests are Sport conditioning and strength training.

Beth A. Cafferty - is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has been an athlete throughout her life, beginning with gymnastics as a young girl for 10 years. She is very experienced in personal fitness training, in combination with nutrition counseling for Shoreline Health and Fitness. Beth can help clients reach their fitness and health goals. Beth is a Dietetic Technician (Nutritionist) and is qualified to work with clients on weight loss or gain, muscle building, and special diet needs. Beth is also a Certified Personal Chef that can plan, shop, cook, and personalize your meals to relieve some of the daily stress in your busy lifestyle !www.chefbethfood.com
Sue Nelson - has 15 years experience in a wide variety of fitness components.  She has trained for many certifications including AFAA Group Exercise, AFAA Personal Training, Johnny G. Spinning, BodyPump, and BodyFlow.  Participating and instructing in mat Pilate's classes, as well as receiving individualized instruction at a traditional Pilate's studio for the past 5 years, has added a unique perspective to her personal training techniques.   In addition, she utilizes functional aspects to her training methods.  She is an instructor here at Shoreline Health and Fitness, which helps boost the comfort zone of new members (Pilate's, Spinning, BodyPump and BodyFlow).   
Coming off an injury or new to exercise?  Her stretches and Pilate's programs will improve your strength and flexibility.  Whatever your fitness goals, Sue will develop a training plan you will love, including a variety of exercises and advice tapped from her experience.
